PONCE, PUERTO RICOI have been to Ponce Puerto Rico 4 times in my life. All the times I have been has been during December break in high school. On the right is the first fire house in Ponce. This is in the center of town and a cool fact about this is it lights up at night. Ponce is a little over an hour outside of San Juan which is the capital of Puerto Rico. The reason why me and my family vacationed here so many times is because it was an awesome experience every time we went. It was always warm weather and it did not rain as much in Ponce. Every time we went to Ponce it would always be raining in San Juan.

The resort we stayed at had 2 pools, a golf course, a casino, and a bunch of other things for families to have a good time during there stay here.
My Dad being a frequent flyer on Delta me and my family basically went on the trip for free. My Dad also had a lot of hotel points at the Hilton so by the 4th time going there we only had to pay for one night out of eight nights in the hotel. We also got free breakfast in the morning because we new people who worked at the hotel and were nice enough to give us free breakfast during our stay. If we did not have the frequent flyer miles and the hotel points the rough cost of the trip during Christmas break would be around $1,000 round trip for one person. The hotel cost would be about $200 a night depending on were you stay in the hotel. That's the cost without food. The hotel has breakfast in the morning every day but it is $20 a person for a buffet. If we did not get these accommodations then we would not be able to afford this trip. I am very lucky to be able to go on this trip for so many years and I hope to live here someday. Delta Air lines
Here is a video of what the Hotel I stayed at is all about. Next to the hotel are condos that are very nice and are right on the water. These condos go for about $600,000. I hope to live in one of these condos when I get older. Also they are right next to a golf course to that most of the locals who live there are members of. I have always wanted to go to Puerto Rico and I actually get the chance to go this May. Just recently my family booked a vacation on a cruise around the Caribbean leaving from San Juan so we decided to just extend our vacation and stay in Puerto Rico for 4 days.
ReplyDeleteI think it is awesome that you have been 4 times because I love the good weather and I would love to go there and get out of New England during the cold winter months. You were also right on with the prices of the plane tickets as well because I actually just recently went through the process and I ended up spending 1020 round trip for each of the 6 tickets we bought.
I can't wait to leave the week after the spring semester ends and actually see how nice it is there. I hope I have as much enjoyment as your family did.
